  • Dodge Neon timing belt remove and replace. Water pump should be replaced as well on the Dodge Neon while you are under the timing cover. This 2.0 Liter engine is an interference fit so if the belt breaks there can be engine damage - i.e. valves bending Be aware of the special tool(s) needed for removing and replacing the timing belt and water pump on the 2002 Dodge Neon 2.0 Liter. (This is true of other years as well)
